MiNightVet Stoke

MiNightVet Stoke is a small animal out of hours veterinary emergency service, welcoming dogs, cats, birds, exotics, poultry and small mammals. We provide emergency overnight and weekend care to our clients and those of other member practices in Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas.

Our service is also available to clients from other practices who have arranged this service. Please see the list below to find out if your veterinary practice can use our service.

The MiNightVet Stoke team provide a dedicated emergency service with full-time night staff who will be alert and effective even at unsociable hours. The qualified vets and nurses have a special interest, experience and training in all aspects of emergency and critical care.

Senior Night Veterinary Surgeon
Sorcha graduated in 2007 from University College Dublin. She has worked extensively in busy out of hours hospital practice in the UK. She enjoys soft tissue surgery and emergency and critical care medicine. At home she enjoys gardening and beach walks with her rescue Lurcher and Collie dog.

Cristina graduated from the University of Naples Federico II in 2014, spent her first year after graduation in mixed practice and wildlife rescue centre. She moved into a rotating internship in a small animal hospital in south Italy then moved to UK in 2016. She gained her certificate in avian pathology and wildlife in 2017 but happily works only with small animals nowadays, however she always enjoy to see some fledged friend. In her free time she loves to take long walks with her two dogs, Kim a cross breed Labrador and Dali a Bullmastiff.

Stacey joined the MiNightVet Stoke team in November 2018. She has a keen interest in emergency and critical care nursing having previously worked out of hours at a practice in Birmingham for almost five years. At home Stacey has a lively Cocker Spaniel called Lottie who keeps her very busy. Stacey also enjoys travelling and live music and is currently studying towards a qualification in pet bereavement counselling.

Laura qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in November 2017 and joined the MiNight Stoke team in August 2018. She enjoys all aspects of nursing but her special interests are anaesthesia and emergency and critical care. In her spare time Laura enjoys walking her Labrador, Harley and riding and competing on her horse, Domino.

Rachael has worked in the veterinary industry for over 12 years starting as a receptionist and later qualifying as a RVN in 2014. She enjoys all aspects of nursing and especially enjoys spending time with the inpatients, helping them to feel better. At home Rachael enjoys spending quality time with her partner and their daughter on family days out. Rachael has two Border Collies, Ben and Meg, who keep her fit going on long walks.

Rebecca qualified as an RVN in 2006 and soon developed an interest emergency veterinary care. Rebecca has been working in out of hours for the last 10 years. In her spare time she enjoys spending time at home with her two senior cats, Hoggle and Tigger.
