MiNightVet Bristol

MiNightVet Bristol is a small animal out of hours veterinary emergency service, welcoming dogs, cats, birds, exotics, poultry and small mammals. We are based in Whitchurch, Bristol providing emergency overnight and weekend care to clients.

Our service is also available to clients from other practices who have arranged this. Please see the list below to find out if your veterinary practice can use our service.

The MiNightVet team provide a dedicated emergency service with full-time night staff who will be alert and effective even at unsociable hours. The qualified vets and nurses have a special interest, experience and training in all aspects of urgent critical care.

Senior Veterinary Nurse
Laura completed the HND in veterinary nursing science at Hartpury (UWE) College and became a Registered Veterinary Nurse in April 2005. At home she has two cats; Tommy and Diego that were abandoned as tiny kittens and hand-reared, so both think they are human babies.

Holly studied veterinary nursing at Norton Radstock College and qualified as an RVN in 2014. She enjoys all aspects of nursing, meeting clients and their pets on a daily basis.

Patient Care Assistant
Hillary joined the MiNightVet Bristol team based at Highcroft Veterinary Hospital in July 2015. She enjoys helping the vets and nurses with the dog inpatients. At home Hilary has a pet hamster called Santa.

Paula joined Highcroft Veterinary Group in February 2000 as a night patient care assistant. She enjoys handling the animals to assist the vets and nurses, and any involvement with the patient care.

Terri-Lea Hayfield

Patient Care Assistant
Terri joined the MiNightVet Bristol team based at Highcroft Veterinary Hospital in May 2017. She enjoys helping with the patients and walking the dogs. At home Terri has two dogs, one cat and three birds.

Amy joined the MiNightVet Bristol team in December 2018, having previously worked in pet shops. She has 10 pet rabbits at home of which she has acquired over the years.

Amy enjoys helping out with the patient care during her shifts.
