MiNightVet Bridgnorth

MiNightVet Bridgnorth is a small animal out of hours veterinary emergency service, welcoming dogs, cats and small mammals. We are based in Bridgnorth, Shropshire and provide emergency overnight and weekend care to clients.

Our service is also available to clients from other practices who have arranged this service. Please see the list below to find out if your veterinary practice can use our service.

The MiNightVet team provide a dedicated emergency service with full-time night staff who will be alert and effective even at unsociable hours. The qualified vets and nurses have a special interest, experience and training in all aspects of urgent critical care.

Dr Lore Kintaert

Lore graduated in 2015 from the University of Ghent in Belgium. After a short veterinary experience in Australia, she moved to the UK in January 2016. Her interests lie in surgery, orthopaedics and emergency and critical care, which is why she decided to join the MiNightVet Bridgnorth team. She loves travelling, music and singing. In March 2017, Lore performed a caesarean section on a stray cat, after which she adopted the lovely kitten Solo, who has grown into a handsome young man. Since October 2018, her beautiful Collie pup Rue joined the family.

Harri qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2013 and has been working at Severn Edge since 2015. She turned to the dark side when the new MiNightVet Bridgnorth service offered by Severn Edge started up and enjoys the challenge of night work. Outside of work she enjoys eating cake and running with her dog Genghis, a Cocker Spaniel – they are trying to master the art of canicross. Genghis is learning faster than Harri.

El qualified from the University of Cambridge in 2014 and spent 18 months in mixed practice in the North East of England. She moved back to Shropshire and joined Severn Edge in 2016, before joining the MiNight team earlier this year. Her clinical interests lie in soft tissue surgery and emergency medicine and she has enjoys the variety and unpredictability of emergency and critical care. Outside of work, El keeps busy training and competing her ex-racehorse, Dexter, and walking the Shropshire Hills with her two spaniels.

Kelsie qualified from Pershore College as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2014, she joined Severn Edge in October 2018 and currently works days and nights at our 24-hour Bridgnorth hospital. She particularly enjoys emergency and critical care and anaesthesia, and has recently developed an interest for laboratory work. When not at work she enjoys walking her Jack Russell Cross, Marty, looking after her tortoise Voldetort, reading and swimming.
