Deirdre qualified from University College, Dublin in 2015 and has worked in small animal practice, equine and mixed practice over the last 8 years. In the last 5 years she has focused on small animal work and also locumed all over Northern Ireland seeing practice in different clinics learning a lot of new skills. Deirdre enjoys consulting, working through cases and also particularly enjoys surgery. She joined the Minite vet clinic here in Omagh last October and is passionate about emergency and critical care work and intend to carry this on in the future.
Outside of work she enjoys long walks with her 2 dogs, both collie crosses, cooking and baking with her husband and keeping fit, enjoying a mix of running and exercise classes.
Christina graduated from JLU in Giessen, Germany in 2009. She then followed her dream by moving to Ireland where she worked in different mixed and small animal practices in Donegal and Derry
At the beginning of 2023 she gave up her job at St Elmos in Derry to fully concentrate on her passion for emergency medicine and has since taken on a role as dedicated OOH vet with the MiNight team in Omagh.
In her free time Christina enjoys the amazing landscape of the Atlantic coast and is usually found surfing or walking her Terrier Ralph on one of the beautiful beaches.
