MiNightVet Omagh

MiNightVet Omagh is a small animal out of hours veterinary emergency service, welcoming dogs, cats and small mammals. We are based in Omagh and provide emergency overnight and weekend care to clients.

Our service is also available to clients from other practices who have arranged this service. Please see the list below to find out if your veterinary practice can use our service.

The MiNightVet team provide a dedicated emergency service with full-time night staff who will be alert and effective even at unsociable hours. The qualified vets and nurses have a special interest, experience and training in all aspects of urgent critical care.

Deirdre Devlin

Veterinary Surgeon

Deirdre qualified from University College, Dublin in 2015 and has worked in small animal practice, equine and mixed practice over the last 8 years. In the last 5 years she has focused on small animal work and also locumed all over Northern Ireland seeing practice in different clinics learning a lot of new skills. Deirdre enjoys consulting, working through cases and also particularly enjoys surgery. She joined the Minite vet clinic here in Omagh last October and is passionate about emergency and critical care work and intend to carry this on in the future.

Outside of work she enjoys long walks with her 2 dogs, both collie crosses, cooking and baking with her husband and keeping fit, enjoying a mix of running and exercise classes.

Christina

Veterinary Surgeon

Christina graduated from JLU in Giessen, Germany in 2009. She then followed her dream by moving to Ireland where she worked in different mixed and small animal practices in Donegal and Derry

At the beginning of 2023 she gave up her job at St Elmos in Derry to fully concentrate on her passion for emergency medicine and has since taken on a role as dedicated OOH vet with the MiNight team in Omagh.

In her free time Christina enjoys the amazing landscape of the Atlantic coast and is usually found surfing or walking her Terrier Ralph on one of the beautiful beaches.

Hannah

Lead Registered Veterinary Nurse
Hannah had a change in career direction, after completing a degree in equine science and working in the equine field for a few years she graduated from Letterkenny in 2019 and has been working in practice since. She joined the MiNightVet Omagh team in May 2023. Hannah’s favourite areas of nursing is surgery and inpatient care.
Outside of work Hannah enjoys the gym, road trips and spending time with her dog Bella and horse Willow.

Aileen qualified in December 2021 but started off in practice in 2016, she thoroughly enjoys caring for critical patients and the variety of emergency cases during out of hours.
When shes not in work, Aileen is kept busy by her son and 3 cats.

Katie

Registered Veterinary Nurse
Katie joined Campsie Vets in September 2020. She qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2017 an further received a Bachelor of Science honours degree in 2019. Katie’s main interest is in caring for critically ill patients and providing rehabilitative care so that they can return home feeling healthier and happier! She joined MiNight Vet in September 2022.
