MiNightVet Cork

MiNightVet Cork is a small animal veterinary emergency service. We openly welcome dogs, cats and small mammals. We are based in Togher, Cork and provide emergency overnight and weekend care to clients and their pets. The MiNightVet team is made up of fully qualified veterinary surgeons and nurses registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland. Our staff provide a dedicated night time and weekend service to monitor hospitalized patients and are available to accept emergency service with full-time night staff who will be alert and effective even at unsociable hours

Karmen Kovic

DVM
Veterinary Surgeon

Karmen graduated from the University of Zagreb, Veterinary Faculty, in 2013 and has worked in busy small animal hospitals ever since, in Croatia and Ireland. In February 2019 she joined MiNightVet at Gilabbey Veterinary Hospital to pursue her field of interest, emergency and critical care. She particularly enjoys veterinary imaging diagnostics. Karmen has been nominated for Vet of the Year 2018. Outside of work Karmen is a surfer and loves to travel.

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Rachel graduated in 2015 and has been working in small animal practice since. Her love for science and passion for animals put her on the path to veterinary nursing. She joined the MiNightVet team in February 2019. Rachel enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing but has a keen interest in critical care and surgical nursing. Rachel spends her time off looking after her own pets and loves to travel where and when she can.
